Clara is a multidisciplinary artist of Mozambiquan/ Portuguese heritage based in so-called Melbourne. She is an animator, illustrator and aspiring production designer. With a passion for storytelling and creating illusory worlds filled with vibrant colourful characters, Clara moved from a watery worlds edge to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Animation) at the Victorian College of the Arts. Whilst studying Clara made animated shorts, contributed to student publications and co-founded the University of Melbourne’s inaugural BIPOC run publication. Having spent more than enough time inside staring at a screen over the course of the pandemic - Clara  burst on to her first live-action set, found her groove and hasn’t looked back. With a keen mind and a keener eye, there aren’t many problems she cant solve and she’ll has a damn good time doing it. With on set experience assisting in the creation of commercials, short films and music videos she eagerly awaits her next epic project.
